You may use Biomatters Limited's websites www.biomatters.com and www.geneious.com to obtain information about Biomatters Limited and its products, to purchase software from Biomatters, to upgrade software, and to communicate with Biomatters Limited and other users of Biomatters' products using the forums provided. Any other use is prohibited without the express written consent of Biomatters Limited.

Policies

Purchasers of a license to use Geneious (both versions) are entitled to free upgrades for one year following date of purchase. Subscribers of a license to use Geneious (both versions) are entitled to free upgrades for the duration of the subscription. Upgrades to Geneious may be freely downloaded by academic users.

Biomatters Limited will provide technical support to registered users of Geneious (both versions), free of charge:

• in the case of subscribers, for the duration of the subscription;
• in the case of users who have purchased a license, for one year following date of purchase.

Biomatters Limited may choose at its own discretion to offer free support to non-registered users and users who no longer have a valid subscription or who fall outside of the one year free support window.

Biomatters Limited uses a third party payment processor – Kagi. Kagi's refund policy may be viewed at www.kagi.com/refundpolicy. Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase or subscription by submitting a Refund Request Form to refund@kagi.com. If Kagi receives a refund request, they will notify Biomatters Limited. Biomatters Limited reserves the right to rectify or resolve any reported problems within 14 days of notification, before a refund is processed.

When you purchase software from Biomatters Limited, we collect personal information to allow us to fulfill your order and provide technical support services. Information we collect may include your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

Only Biomatters Limited has access to customer information. We will not give or sell your private information to any outside company for any purpose without your express consent. We will use the information provided to us to notify you of important announcements regarding special offers or software upgrades. If you do not want to receive this information, you can be excluded from these announcements by notifying us by email.

Biomatters Limited uses a third party payment processor – Kagi. The payment processor securely handles all credit card details and informs us whether transactions succeed or fail. We do not receive (and cannot store) any credit card information whatsoever at any time.

At any time, you may review or correct your personal information in your user profile. You may also request that we remove your registration data and personal information from our system; however, Biomatters Limited reserves the right to provide free technical support and software upgrades only to registered users.

Biomatters Limited will take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, unauthorized alteration, destruction or other malfeasance.
